Marie-Theres Arnbom
Born in Vienna in 1968, Dr. phil., Historian, author and curator, with several years experience in cultural management. Her published works include Die Villen von Bad Ischl and recently Die Villen vom Ausseerland. Also Welt der Operette. Glamour, Stars und Showbusiness (Wien 2011), Der Wolfgangsee (Wien 2010), Das Kabarett „Die Hölle“ in Wien (Wien 2010), Jüdisches Kabarett in Wien (Wien 2009), War’n Sie schon mal in mich verliebt? Filmstars, Operettenlieblinge und Kabarettgrößen zwischen Wien und Berlin (Wien 2006) and Grüß mich Gott. A biography of Fritz Grünbaum (Wien 2005) with Christoph Wagner-Trenkwitz. Founder and director of the Children’s Music Festival St. Gilgen (www.kindermusikfestival.at). She has also curated several exhibitions: „Jüdische Kurgäste in Baden bei Wien“ in the Kaiserhaus Baden/Wien (2022), „Der Kunsthistoriker Fritz Großmann“, Museum „Zinkenbacher Malerkolonie“ St. Gilgen (2013), „Operette. Anton Strobl
Born 1987, Anton Strobl studied History and Classical Philology (Latin) in Salzburg. As a stipendiary of the Literaturmuseeum Altaussee he came in touch with the regional contemporary history of the Ausseerland and published two books on the topic. In frequent collaboration with the Kammerhofmuseum Bad Aussee he is dedicated to preserve and communicate the history of the Ausseerland. He lives in St. Gilgen, on the outskirts of the Salzkammergut, and works as a librarian at the University Library Salzburg.
Elizabeth Baum-Breuer
Born in London 1955. A hybrid childhood and youth in Oxfordshire, England with long wonderful summers in Gössl, Ausseerland. Dr. Phil., University of Vienna, Studies in Education Science and Social Work. Additional training in Mediation and an Art History Course for Tourist Guides. Extensive experience in international NGO work as Information Officer and Representative of ICSW to the UN in Geneva and Vienna. Wide-ranging experience in Child and Family Welfare. Ongoing part-time lecturer and researcher. Regular visitor to Ausseerland, lives in the Vienna Woods.
